About us

Hostel Boise is the place to stay when discoveringall that Boise and Southwest Idaho have to offer! We are are not your typical Hostel. We pride ourselves on homelike atmosphere. We are located on a country acre and enjoy sharing the bounty from our own garden and even chickens.Guests amenities include a full kitchen, safe off street parking, 4 bed dorms or a private room and free WI-FI. We encourage guests to enjoy the garden, a barbeque on the patio, or sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the quiet evenings.

We are making every effort to be ‘GREEN’ and to take care of our planet, and ask that our guests help us in that effort. We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary, thanks to you!
There is no good public transportation to the Hostel from the Airport, and cab fare is very expensive, so, to stay here you really need to have a vehicle. Hopefully this will change in the near future. We will do an airport pick-up and drop off with advance notice, but it costs $10 each way.Sorry! We are located just a few miles West of Boise, with easy access to I-84 We’re only a short drive from great whitewater rafting, hiking, biking and skiing (Bogus Basin). Other nearby attractions include: Hells Canyon, The Oregon Trail, the World Center for Birds of Prey, the Snake River, the Boise Greenbelt, and several great Wineries and Brew Pubs!!
This is a wonderful area for every kind of outdoor recreation imaginable. We really are located in the Heart of IDAHO! We are also just down the road from the new College of Western Idaho and awesome concerts and Rodeos (at the Idaho Center).

Hostel Boise is the perfect place to stay while visiting the Boise area, or as a much needed break on your trek across the West. Come stay with us, you won’t want to leave You may call us any evening after 5 PM MST to speak to a real person or to make a reservation. We look forward to having you stay with us.

The journey is the destination!
